About Us

Mrs. Tyler practices Social Security disability law, worker’s compensation law, and immigration law. Following the completion of a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University, Ms. Tyler received a Master’s in Public Health degree, with emphasis on international health and poverty, from the University of Utah. Ms. Tyler later received her Juris Doctor from the University of Utah S. J. Quinney College of Law and is licensed to practice law in Utah. Ms. Tyler earned a Certificate in Public Interest Law & Policy by volunteering over 100 hours in the College of Law’s Pro Bono Initiative Legal Clinics. Ms. Tyler gained experience drafting documents to facilitate legal aid for Navajo victims of domestic violence, protect nonimmigrant sheep herders from exploitation, and combat the opioid epidemic within the Navajo Nation. Ms. Tyler interned with Immigration Legal Services and Utah Legal Services, as well as with Judge David Nuffer with the U.S. District Court, District of Utah, and gained valuable experience researching, analyzing, and drafting opinions concerning a variety of federal law issues within the District of Utah. Ms. Tyler developed Spanish language skills while living in Asuncion, Paraguay for 18 months as a proselyting missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoys trail running, reading good books, skiing, biking, and backpacking with her family.

Virginius “Jinks” Dabney, Mrs. Tyler’s father, graduated from the University of Utah Law School over 50 years ago. Mr. Dabney began work in Social Security Disability law and Workers Compensation law over 45 years ago and has become an expert in both areas of law.

Jinks claims that he will no longer practice law only after it is no longer fun for him. He loves the law and loves to contribute to the lives of others.
